I am a registered psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience specializing in mental health and trauma-informed care. My practice is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and I am proud to be an ICEEFT-certified EFT (EFCT, EFFT & EFIT) therapist. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate relational challenges, foster emotional connection, and heal from the impacts of trauma. I am currently an EFCT SIT Candidate and working towards becoming an EFCT supervisor. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Psychology from York University. As the founder and clinical director of Hopewoods Psychotherapy & Sparkling Seeds Children & Youth Therapy and Development Centre in Ontario, Canada, I lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate care. My therapeutic approach integrates EFT principles to support clients in rebuilding trust, enhancing intimacy, and achieving meaningful change in their relationships. Beyond my clinical practice, I am committed to advancing trauma-informed therapy and fostering professional collaboration. I lead the We-Connect community, a pro bono initiative under Hopewoods, where mental health professionals share knowledge, offer peer support, and collaborate on trauma-focused approaches. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree, my goal is to deepen my expertise in psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and psychological assessment while contributing to academic research in EFT and trauma-informed care. Through my work, I strive to support clients in their healing journeys and to mentor the next generation of therapists.
