I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for adoptees, couples, individuals, and families, focusing on anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Based in Sherman Oaks, CA, I offer virtual sessions throughout California, making it easier for you to access the support you need. Whether you and your spouse are navigating building your family through adoption or were adopted yourself, feeling disconnected in your relationship, or dealing with emotions like anxiety, depression, grief or loss, I’m here to help you find a path to a connected and fulfilling family life. With extensive training and personal experience in adoption, I am uniquely qualified to support those involved in the adoption and foster care community. If you’re a couple looking to adopt, have children through adopted, or are an adoptee, I can assist you. I am a fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Doctor of Psychology candidate specializing in clinical psychology (PsyD-C). I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and received a scholarship to the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am completing my dissertation, where I've developed a novel therapeutic approach designed specifically for adoptees. I am represented in the National Directory of Adoption Competent Professionals. I served as the Los Angeles Chapter Clinical Director for “A Home Within”, a nonprofit that provides free therapeutic support to foster youth to help them heal from trauma and build resilience, and I continue to volunteer with this organization. Additionally, I am a level 3 trained Emotionally Focused Therapist, trained at the Emotionally Focused Therapy Resource Center in Pasadena, CA.
